The Alpenglow Suite

Relax in Comfort and Enjoy Our Spectacular Mt Baker Views!

Both the Alpenglow and the Glacier Suites are located in our mountainside guest building separated from our residence. Both units have the same wonderful, unobstructed view of Mt Baker and the Nooksack River Valley below.

The Alpenglow Suite is a spacious 2 room unit. The front room has the large view windows, a very comfortable pull out sofa-bed, and seating, viewing areas. The front sitting and or sleeping room includes a TV, and DVD player. The adjacent room includes a queen-sized bed with log headboard, a small dinette table, and a kitchenette stocked with microwave, small refrigerator, bar sink, toaster, coffee maker and some table ware. We provide pastry, cereal, milk, ground coffee, and fruit in the room upon your arrival. The room includes a collection of books, puzzles, games, magazines, and CDs. A private bath room is located on the lower level with shower. The total space within the Alpenglow Suite exceeds 700 sq. ft. Cell Communications services are provided via a nearby T-Mobile tower, Frontier Communications provides a land line wifi router from our residence. The room includes a TV and DVD. Should you desire a larger space the Alpenglow and Glacier Suites can be opened up into a large 3 room, two bath arrangement, making our property an ideal get-away for family and friends and special occasions.

With thousands of acres of forest land at our back, the Nooksack River to our front, and the entire North Cascades and the Mt Baker Ski area just minutes away, there are unlimited outdoor recreation opportunities at our doorstep. Additionally, you are free to enjoy our private mountainside reserve, ponds, and river frontage for outdoor picnics, nature walks, hiking miles of trails, skiing, or snowshoeing. You may also wish to consider making an arrangement for obtaining an aerial image of Mt Baker and a short flight in a vintage bush plane from our private Mt Baker Airfield. Use of our property comes with the understanding that you and your guests do agree to assume full liability and risk for your use and activities with us.

Our desire is to provide a safe, clean, quiet retreat in a natural environment, therefore we strongly discourage excessive noise. Please, no motorized vehicles, off-trail use, campfires at undesignated locations, pets in the rooms, or smoking on the premises.
